About Profit Share

You can view your Profit Share resulting from your Autobooks program within the Autobooks Hub. You must have the user role of Admin within the Hub to view the report. If you don't have an Admin user role, please ask your Autobooks Hub Admin within your financial institution to update your user role. If your financial institution doesn't have access to the Autobooks Hub, please let the Autobooks team know and we can send you an invite.

Accessing Profit Share data

Once your user role is confirmed as Admin, sign into the Autobooks Hub:

  1. Click the Reports tab on the left side navigation menu.
  2. Click the sub menu View Reports to open up your data dashboards.
  3. Once the dashboard loads, select the Profit Share tab at the bottom of the screen. This tab shows the performance activity and Profit Share amounts both for monthly Subscriptions and payment Processing revenue.

Understanding your Profit Share data

The Profit Share tab is organized in three categories, with data displayed quarterly. The previous four quarters will display. For example, if you are viewing the tab during Q2 the tabs will display data for Q1 of the current year while Q2-Q4 will be for the previous year. Check out our article that breaks down the information displayed within all data dashboards.

I'm seeing a negative amount in my net profit share, why is that? Do I owe Autobooks money?

Negative amounts in Net Profit share are usually the result of losses within your portfolio. Most often these come in the form of unresolved chargebacks between a small business and their end customer. Your institution is not liable for these losses, but they will draw down on your Profit Share amounts until the loss is fully covered.

How can I help reduce losses in my portfolio to protect Profit Share?

The first step you can take is to provide a good Risk and Fraud Detection contact. Often in these loss scenarios our team will attempt to engage your financial institution to resolve the dispute process. These contacts are also important in the case of detected suspicious activity.

You can provide all the critical contacts Autobooks needs to support your institution by filling out the form below:
