You can view and/or edit certain customer payment limits within the Bill Pay Payment Admin Portal.
Edit payment limits for two user types
You can edit payment limits for:
- An individual user - these are limits used when a particular user is creating a payment.
- The customer - these are limits used by recurring schedules when creating a recurring payment.
Editing Limits
To edit limits for either a user or a customer:
- Search for the user within the User Maintenance feature.
- Click Edit Limits.
- Select the user's name or the Customer option in the dropdown.
- A table of the existing limits will display. The default limits for each product/payment combination type will appear in light gray.
- Click into the limit field you wish to modify, then type in the new limit.
- Once you've completed your edits, click Save.
Types of limits that are editable
You may edit/update three types of payment limits per product/per payment type:
- Verify Limit - this limit is the highest dollar amount a user can create a payment for without requiring verification.
- Transaction Limit - this is the dollar limit the user can create a payment for.
- Daily Limit - this is the total daily dollar amount the user can create for all payments in one day.
